This high resolution, four times that of Full HD, can help in a variety of applications ranging from viewing detailed works of art in a museum or gallery to producing accurate video and images with a wide depth-of-field to get as close as possible to a real life experience via a simulation system.
Bright Images with High Dynamic Contrast
The REALiS 4K6020Z can project clear, bright images at up to 6000 lumens with a dynamic contrast ratio up to 22,000:1 when the Dynamic Contrast function is used, helping to ensure deep blacks, bright whites, and vivid color, clarity, depth, and dimension.
Laser Light Source Covering up to 99.9% of the sRGB Color Space
The projector's laser light source provides up to 20,000 hours of use for continuous, reliable projection. Its hours of operation can be nearly doubled when utilizing the Long Duration modes to up to 20 times longer than the life of a conventional lamp.
LCoS Technology with AISYS Enhancement
The AISYS (Aspectual Illumination System) Optical Engine utilizes light management technology to help maximize the contrast and brightness benefits of the projector's liquid crystal on silicon (LCoS) display panels for augmented reflectivity and durability with high brightness. The LCoS panels are relatively small in size, allowing for an overall comparatively compact projector that delivers high resolution. With the LCoS panels, the pixels are close together, producing virtually seamless images free of grid lines for enhanced clarity.
Seven Interchangeable Lens Options
The REALiS 4K6020Z requires a separately sold lens to operate. Seven options enable a variety of installation options. The spigot lens mount system helps provide quick and secure lens installation. 4K Upscaling
Non-4K content can be enhanced using the BiCubic and Shape Trace technologies, which can detect the contours of an image in a diagonal direction and perform interpolation, to help smooth out the image.
High Dynamic Range (HDR) Compatibility
The REALiS 4K6020Z supports HDR to help produce bright highlights and deep blacks. The wider dynamic range expands the contrast and the color; combined with 4K resolution, this helps enhance the overall viewing experience.
Gamma Restore
The Gamma Restore setting uses an internal sensor to measure the RGB luminance of the LCoS panels and corrects the gradation to the factory default setting.
Light Source Calibration
This function uses an internal sensor to correct the hue according to the aging variation in the laser output. The function automatically runs when the projector is shut down, or you can manually execute it after 30 minutes of operation have passed.
Multiple Image Modes for Optimal Image Reproduction
Image Modes provide different variations of color reproduction characteristics suitable for the image type and projection environment.
  • Standard Mode is suitable for viewing still images and TV broadcast under slightly suppressed lighting.
  • Presentation Mode is designed for use in somewhat bright rooms when text needs to be clear, such as when part of a video presentation.
  • Dynamic Mode is designed for use in rooms that are somewhat bright, and when showing motion picture content.
  • Photo/sRGB Mode allows for projecting colors int he sRGB standard.
  • Video Mode is well suited for rooms that are somewhat dark, and for HDR video content.

Image Adjustment Options
Various image adjustment options are available, including brightness, contrast, sharpness, gamma, color level, color balance, color temperature, gain (RGB), and offset (RGB). More advanced adjustments provide enhanced flexibility for professional users with more adjustment options.
  • Dynamic Contrast determines the brightness of scenes by looking to the histogram of the image signal and controlling the light source and gradation performance based on that information. When applied, this function expresses up to a 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for clear contrast, even in dark scenes.
  • Frame Lock helps prevent synchronization errors caused by frame rate gaps between the input source and the LCoS drive by synchronizing the input signal of different display devices with the projector for smooth image playback.
  • Colorimetry uses three color standard presets (BT.709, BT.2020, and Auto) to enable users to optimize the color output of the image content.
  • Ambient Light technology lets you select the color temperature and other characteristics that are in the active environment.
  • Random Noise Reduction is designed to eliminate minute noise that may appear in the image.
  • Digital Noise Reduction helps eliminate block noise that may appear when playing back compressed digital images, and "mosquito noise" that may appear in a dot pattern near the edges.
  • Dynamic Gamma is engineered to analyze individual areas of the image for specific, independent contrast adjustment, so light and dark areas don't appear over- or underexposed.
  • Memory Color Correction can be used to enhance skin tones and other color features for rich, vivid results.
  • 6-Axis Color Adjust lets you fine-tune the hue, saturation, and brightness of each of the primary and secondary colors, providing enhanced control.
  • Fine-Tune Gamma enables the adjustment of the gamma curve, allowing you to adjust white, red, green, and blue levels.
Motion Blur Reduction
This technology helps provide improved visibility when on-screen movement is fast. By inserting extra frames into video content, motion blur is reduced, and the clarity of graphics and text on fast-moving objects is preserved. Three different modes (Strong, Weak, and Off) provide flexibility, with each depending on the level of movement and the type of video content.
Additional Settings and Adjustments
  • In Normal Operating Mode, brightness is set by the Light Mode settings.
  • With Fixed Brightness Mode, brightness doesn't change due to aging; maximum brightness is set at 20 to 70% of initial brightness.
  • Longer Duration 1 Mode sets the maximum brightness at 20 to 70% of the current brightness to enable the projector to be used for longer periods of time.
  • Longer Duration 2 Mode does the same, setting maximum brightness to 20 to 50% of current brightness.
  • Lens Position lets you store up to three different custom lens presets, each which includes Zoom, Focus, Lens Shift, Lens Shift Mode, Keystone, 4-Point Keystone Correction, and Screen Color Adjustment
  • Reduction Zoom helps make it easy to switch from one signage setup to another. The lens presets can also be used to quickly change the settings from projecting on a screen to the settings needed for projecting onto a blackboard.
  • Screen Color Correction lets you fine-tune the colors of images based on the color of your projection surface. Adjustments can be made from Normal and Greenboard, as well as additional tuning for projecting onto
  • Menu Rotation enhances portrait projection, allowing adjustment of the angle of the projector's menu up to 90° left and right. Sensors within the projector detect the angle of the projector and flip the image accordingly in increments of 90°.
  • 4-Point Keystone Correction allows the corners of the image to be independently adjusted to help ensure optimal image reproduction. nearly any other colored surface.
  • High Altitude Mode enables faster fan speeds at altitudes over 7545.9' above sea level to help prevent overheating.
  • Edge Blending lets you combine multiple images to create seamless, extra-wide projections. Advanced functions allow for color blending and black level adjustments to help enhance image quality.
  • Micro-Digital Image Shift electronically shifts the image using the extra pixels on the LCoS panel.
  • The Registration function modifies the registration by electronically correcting color shift due to changes in the alignment of each RGB panel position.
